Overwatch 2’s voice lines are some of the most iconic parts of the game.
They’re recognizable far outside of individual rounds, and a huge part of why so many have fallen in love with the world of Overwatch. It’s always interesting to see the real faces and all Overwatch 2 voice actors that are behind your favorite video game characters.
Outside of just being iconic, Overwatch 2 voice actors are important for gameplay. It isn’t easy to follow everyone’s abilities properly unless you’re paying attention to voice lines, even if Overwatch 2 has thrown in subtitles!
These are all of the voice actors behind the characters in the game and where else you might know them from. This is all Overwatch 2 voice actors:
Overwatch 2 All Voice Actors
Ana – Aysha Selim
Aysha Selim voices Ana in both Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Like the character she plays, Aysha Selim was born in Egypt! Sharing a background with the character is pretty common for the Overwatch 2 voice actors. She has other video game credits, too, like appearing in Heroes of the Strom (reprising her role as Ana!).
Ashe – Jennifer Hale
Jennifer Hale plays Ashe in Overwatch and the sequel. She has a huge filmography outside of the Blizzard game, though! She’s the voice of Samus Aran in Metroid Prime, and Shepard in Mass Effect, along with roles in Injustice: Gods Among Us, Powderpuff Girls, and Star Wars, and she’s even taken over as the voice of Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3.
Baptiste – Benz Antoine
Benz Antoine is the voice of Baptiste in Overwatch, and one of all Overwatch 2 voice actors to still be around for the sequel. The support hero has an origin story that shows off Benz’s voice talents. The actor has also been in works like Get Rich or Die Trying.
Bastion – Chris Metzen
Bastion might not have been consistently in Overwatch 2, with recent Hero Changes, but he’s back once again! Chris Metzen voices the hero in both Overwatch and as an Overwatch 2 voice actor. Bastion is actually voiced by someone deeply involved with Blizzard.
Chris Metzen is the voice of Bastion. However, he was also Blizzard’s senior vice president of creative design and story development. He worked on Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and more. His work as one of the Overwatch 2 voice actors isn’t his only foray into acting. He’s done plenty of voices for Warcraft games, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo, and StarCraft. His most notable role is probably voicing Thrall in Warcraft.
Brigitte – Matilda Smedius
Brigitte is voiced by Matilda Smedius. Outside of this voice job, she’s been working as an actress since the age of 6! She’s Swedish, like the character Brigitte. Outside of Overwatch, she’s also voiced characters in Lego games.
Cassidy – Matthew Mercer
Cassidy might have had a name change in recent years, but he’s still the same old voice actor. Matt Mercer is the voice of Cassidy the cowboy. He’s a regular on Blizzard’s panels and events where voice actors do requests in character! These days, he’s probably better known for his part in Critical Role, along with roles in One Piece, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Attack on Titan, JoJo, Demon Slayer, and Dragon Ball; his filmography is pretty expansive. He’s probably one of the most recognizable names out of all Overwatch 2 voice actors.
D.Va – Charlet Chung
Charlet Chung is the voice of D.Va, She’s been in Overwatch along with playing the same character in appearances in StarCraft, and Heroes of the Storm. Outside of Overwatch, she has appeared in things like Craig of the Creek, Call of Duty, and the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Doomfist – Sahr Ngaujah
Doomfist is still a lot of fun in Overwatch 2, with his huge fists being pretty fun in the more chaotic gameplay. He’s voiced by Sahr Ngaujah. He’s probably best known otherwise for his role in Luke Cage, but his work as one of the Overwatch 2 voice actors has won him many fans.
Echo – Jeannie Bolet
Echo is played by Jeannie Bolet. While Echo is a robot, there’s still plenty of personalities added to her voice lines in Overwatch 2. This actress has appeared in lots of other things, including Fallout 4, and World of Warcraft.
Genji – Gaku Space
The voice of Genji in Overwatch is Gaku Space. He’s a Japanese actor, just like the character. He’s also been in Call of Duty, West World, Street Fighter, and Tropic Thunder. He’s had a wide career and is one of the more prominent of all Overwatch 2 voice actors.
Hanzo – Paul Nakauchi
Hanzo is voiced by Paul Nakauchi, both in Overwatch and Overwatch 2. He’s had a long career with appearances in loads of recognizable works. He’s been in Saints Row, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Star Wars Visions, the English dub of Squid Games, Death Note, and Star Wars the Clone Wars. He has a pretty long career. To many fans of the series, though, Overwatch is one of the highlights.
Junker Queen – Leah de Niese
Junker Queen has been a huge part of the game since launching in the beta. Now that players have gotten used to her, and figured out how to play Junker Queen, you’ll hear her voice lines loads in the game. She’s voiced by Leah de Niese.
She’s pretty well known for Junker Queen but has loads of other impressive credits, too, like an extended role in the popular Australian soap Neighbours.
Junkrat – Chris Parson
Junkrat is one of Overwatch’s more animated characters. Out of all Overwatch 2 voice actors, this character might be the one that requires some of the most energy and chaos in each line reading! Chris Parson is the voice behind Junkrat.
Chris Parson is mainly known for Junkrat, but he’s also been in Final Fantasy, Rango, Call of Duty, Last of Us, and Family Guy. He’s had a long career, with video game roles specifically going back to the mid-2000s.
Kiriko – Sally Amaki
Kiriko is Overwatch 2’s Fox Girl support; she’s been a hugely popular character since launch and fares pretty well for tier lists for Overwatch 2. She’s been a part of Tomo-chan Is a Girl! and more outside of Overwatch 2.
Lucio – Jonny Cruz
Lucio is another Overwatch Hero with a big personality! He has a voice to fit too. Of all Overwatch 2 voice actors, Lucio’s is Jonny Cruz. This actor is often associated with his Overwatch role. However, he’s also been in Hitman, Solar Opposites, Red Dead 2, and more.
Mei – Elise Zhang
Mei is voiced by Elise Zhang. She takes on the role in Overwatch and in the shorts that have made Mei such a well-liked character. She’s also appeared in Golden Hour.
Mercy – Lucie Pohl
Mercy is one of the most popular Overwatch characters, and a great pick for Support in Overwatch 2. Lucie Pohl voices mercy. As well as being one of all Overwatch 2 voice actors, she has a pretty wide career. She’s a stand-up comedian alongside being an actor. She’s appeared in Red Dwarf, Fantastic Beasts, Where to Find Them, and more.
Moira – Genevieve O’Reilly
Orisa – Cherrelle Skeete
Cherrelle Skeete voices Orisa, she’s a British actress. She’s known for appearing in Hanna, World of Warcraft, and more.
Pharah – Jen Cohn
Parah is a fun character, voiced by Jen Cohn. She’s also known for appearing in World of Warcraft, Star Wars games, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Avatar the Last Airbender.
Reaper – Keith Ferguson
Reaper has become a bit more viable since Overwatch 2 hit the scene, with the character gaining more with patches. He’s done loads as a voice actor, like appearing in Final Fantasy, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Harvey Birdman, and often as an impressionist.
Reinhardt – Darin De Paul
Darin De Paul provides Reinhardt’s signature voice, which can be pretty rough at times. He’s had a lengthy career with video game voice acting, it would probably be easier to find franchises he hasn’t been a part of. He’s particularly known for Hearthstone, alongside Doom, and other games.
Roadhog – Josh Petersdorf
Josh Petersdorf is the distinctive voice of Roadhog. He’s an American voice actor. Alongside Overwatch, he’s been a part of Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Shin Megami Tensei, and the dub of Aggretsuko.
Sigma – Boris Hiestand
Sigma isn’t the biggest talker, but his voice lines are pretty distinctive. Boris Hiestand is the Overwatch 2 voice actor for this character. He’s done quite a bit of video game voice acting, like in Diablo, Assassin’s Creed, Ori and the Will of the Wisp, and more. That’s along with working in animation on some games along with films like Harry Potter and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Sojourn – Cherise Boothe
Sojourn is one of the newest heroes to join Overwatch with the sequel, coming with the beta launch. The Sojourn Overwatch 2 abilities are pretty interesting, and she has a big personality to match. She’s voiced by Cherise Boothe.
Cherise Boothe has been in a few other video games, like Horizon Forbidden West and Return to Monkey Island. However, she’s also acted in live action, in things like The Good Doctor and 42.
Soldier 76 – Fred Tatasciore
Soldier 76 in Overwatch 2 is one of the most fun characters and he’s popular, especially with newer players. He’s voiced by Fred Tatasciore. He’s another of all Overwatch 2 voice actors who has worked in animation alongside voice acting. As a voice actor, he’s appeared in Final Fantasy, Star Trek, and even Looney Tunes as Taz and Yosemite Sam.
Sombra – Carolina Ravassa
Sombra is voiced by Carolina Ravassa in Overwatch 2. She’s an experienced actor who you might know from Far Cry, Scooby Doo, or Grand Theft Auto.
Symmetra – Anjali Bhimani
Anjali Bhimani is the voice of Symmetra in Overwatch and Overwatch 2. She is an American actress, who might be best known now for appearing in Ms. Marvel. She also played a character in Apex Legends and appeared in Critical Role with the Overwatch 2 voice actor for Cassidy.
Torbjörn – Keith Silverstein
Torbjörn has a pretty unique voice, he’s distinctive from all Overwatch 2 voice actors. Keith Silverstein voices him. Alongside voicing him, he’s a voice actor across a lot of anime and video games. You can find him in Genshin Impact, Hunter X Hunter, Fire Emblem, and Sword Art Online. His role in Overwatch was slightly controversial at the time, as he’s not from Sweden. Many fans theorized that this is why Brigitte was added to the game and given a Swedish voice actor.
Tracer – Cara Theobold
Tracer is one of Overwatch 2’s most distinctive heroes! She’s basically the mascot for the series. Out of all Overwatch 2 voice actors, the clips for her are some of the most recognizable. Cara Theobold is the voice of Tracer, she is British, just like the character. She’s also appeared in Downtown Abbey, Last Tango in Halifax, and played Tracer again in Ready Player One.
Widowmaker – Chloe Hollings
Widowmaker’s distinctive gameplay can make her tricky to master. Widowmaker is voiced by Chloe Hollings. She’s appeared in a lot of Overwatch shorts, and other credits include work in French TV.
Winston – Crispin Freeman
Winston is one of the most recognizable Overwatch 2 voice actors, his monologue opened the title every time players booted up the original game. In both, he’s voiced by Crispin Freeman. He has plenty of experience in voice work, appearing in dubs for anime like Demon Slayer, Ghost in the Shell, and Naruto. He’s no stranger to video game work either, having roles in Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and the last of Us.
Wrecking Ball – Jonathan Lipow & Dee Bradley Baker
Out of all Overwatch 2 voice actors, Wrecking ball has a unique set-up. He’s got two voice actors! There is one actor for the mech, and one for Hammond himself.
Jonathan Lipow is the voice of Wrecking Ball, he’s also appeared in MultiVersus as the Iron Giant, the Simpsons, Call of Duty, and Cash Bandicoot.
The voice for Hammond, the hamster part of this duo, is Dee Bradley Baker. He’s an experienced voice actor, especially in cartoons. He’s appeared in SpongeBob and its recent spin-offs, Star Wars, and Star Trek.
Zarya – Dolya Gavanski
Doyla Gtavanski is a Bulgarian actor. She’s the voice of Zarya in Overwatch and Overwatch 2. She’s also appeared in works like the Trip, Doctors, and Age of Empires IV.
Zenyatta – Feodor Chin
The last of all Overwatch 2 voice actors is for Zenyatta. He’s voiced by Feodor Chin. He’s known for expansive work in video games, appearing in things like League of Legends, Ghost of Tsushima, and Ghostwire Tokyo
Those are all of the Overwatch 2 voice actors. With such an expansive cast, it’s no wonder Overwatch fans always look forward to the next short. Hopefully, we’ll get to see them in bigger roles once the Overwatch 2 campaign mode launches later in the game’s lifespan.
