Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento Kings, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The Brooklyn Nets have shown this NBA offseason that things are going to be different when it comes to the team making decisions. That is something that has irked Kevin Durant, which in part led to him requesting a trade from the team.

Durant issued his trade request right before the moratorium for free agency began in June. Since then it has been a roller coaster ride for the organization as Durant has issued an ultimatum about returning to the team and there were reports of him being more likely to retire than wear a Nets uniform again.

While Durant shot down the reports about retiring, he did not deny the ultimatum claims that reportedly came during a meeting with team personnel. If it is true that he wants general manager Sean Marks and head coach Steve Nash fired to even consider coming back to the Nets, a trade is likely going to come eventually.

Based on trade negotiations and their asking price thus far, they do not seem like a team that wants to make a trade. While Brooklyn is holding out hope that Durant changes his mind and will recommit to the team, there is a good chance that does not happen.
