Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) has announced that it has partnered with the energy drink brand Red Bull. In BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, which started on November 23rd, the Red Bull logo was featured on the Ninjas in Pajamas jersey.
In the announcement they made on their official site, it was stated that with the sponsorship agreement, the logo will be included in other squads’ jerseys as well. They also added that it will be much more than the logo on the jersey. However, they did not share the material details of the agreement.
Hicham Chahine, CEO of NiP, made a statement about the partnership.
Toni Kaski, vice president of advertising partnerships at NiP, also expressed his pride in the partnership.
2022 continues to be a year of growth for NiP. The organization partnered up with computer peripherals and lifestyle brand Razer in June. It also united forces with FILA to develop clubwear products at the beginning of November. In other words, Red Bull is not the only one of the biggest partners of the organization. Their list of partnerships includes names such as Betway, Leeds United, and Stiksen.
Red Bull continues to invest non-stop in the esports industry and continues to be a partner both in terms of events and teams. In addition to the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final, which will be held in São Paulo this year, Red Bull also participates in the VALORANT Red Bull Home Ground tournament in December. They also signed a one-year partnership agreement with Thai esports organization Bacon Time.
