The LA Clippers missed the postseason following the 2021-22 NBA regular season as they were unable to advance beyond the NBA Play-In Tournament. They lost the first game to the Minnesota Timberwolves before falling to the New Orleans Pelicans in a game they were without Paul George because of a positive COVID-19 test.
While last season wasn’t a successful one for the Clippers, they are expected to be right near the top of the standings this upcoming season. That is because they should have their All-Star duo of Kawhi Leonard and George back at full strength.
Leonard missed the entire campaign following an ACL injury suffered in the second round of the 2021 postseason against the Utah Jazz. George played in only 31 as he dealt with an elbow issue.
With both of them back in the lineup surrounded by one of the deepest rosters in the NBA, Los Angeles is ready to bounce back. They look like a team ready for the season to get underway, but things are always being evaluated and they could opt to make one last upgrade to the roster.
