One of the big aims of Formula 1’s all new regulations for this season was to help drivers follow each other more closely out on track, and therefore give us more wheel-to-wheel action. And there’s been plenty of that in the 2022 season.

So now we’re in the summer break and waiting for the racing to start back up again with the Belgian Grand Prix at the end of the month, we decided it was a good time to have a look back at some of the spiciest on-track battles we’ve had this year already – just to give us all an F1 fix while we wait for the cars to hit the track at Spa.
