If your NBA team isn’t a serious title contender or rebuilding, you’ve surely heard this before: “It’s time to blow it up.”
Some will argue that the worst place to be in the NBA is in the middle.
After all, the league’s best teams get to play for the crown, while the league’s worst teams get to play for lottery odds.
Apparently, nobody told the Portland Trail Blazers. This team has been the epitome of “good, not great” for several years now. At 17-16, this season is no different.
At least they’re doing better than the Chicago Bulls. At 14-18, there’s very little to build from in the Windy City. If they plan on blowing it up, nobody could blame them.
If the Trail Blazers don’t, here’s a trade that has them landing DeMar DeRozan of the Bulls.
